A dozen years ago a research paper in the Lancet proposed a link between the MMR vaccine and increasing rates of Autism. The study was put forward by A Brit. Doc. named Andrew Wakefield.
Now Wakefield's losing is right to practice medicine in the UK.
There is no link of course and subsequent investigation have found that Wakefield was guilty of all sorts of ethical violations, not the least of which include making up data and conflict of interest. Sadly, Wakefield's got a new career selling his bad science across the pond and will be little affected by the ruling.
